Ross Whitney
With nearly three decades of client-facing technology consultancy, Ross Whitney combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership to deliver transformative outcomes for his clients. From early days at IBM to directing global customer success operations, Ross brings a rare mix of hands-on technical skills and executive experience.
Ross began his career in 1996 at IBM Ireland as a tech support agent. Within months, he was leading 2nd line support, and by 2000, had transitioned into software development and consulting with IBM’s Global Business Services, then freshly merged with PwC Consulting.
Over the next decade, Ross grew into many senior roles as engineer, architect, business analyst, QA specialist, and program manager, delivering complex, multi-million dollar technology projects across fintech, healthcare, government, and transport sectors.
A move to IBM Lithuania in 2011 brought expanded leadership responsibilities building teams, managing international operations, and driving cultural and operational excellence. This led to global and country-level director roles, where Ross focused on strategy, platform implementation, and business transformation.
At the heart of Ross’s approach is a passion for customer-centric design, operational efficiency, and technical excellence. He remains hands-on with tools like Zendesk, automation frameworks, and AI integrations always with a focus on delivering measurable impact.
Today, Ross offers short-term remote consultancy services to startups, SMEs, and nonprofits across a versatile scope of consulting services bringing in trusted resources when needed.
